Modern Warfare 2: Prestige Edition To Be ” Very Limited”

Activision is apparently asking for a limited production of their $150 Limited Edition of Modern Warfare due to high demands. They said the following: “We’ve already been asked by retailers to up the production numbers due to demand, which we immediately denied,” Bowling said.

“We decided from the beginning that we want this to be for the hardcore fans and early adopters. The fact that it is actually limited is one of the coolest parts, which is why we’ve individually numbered every copy.”

Halo 3 was also to have a “Limited Edition” however, it wasn’t so limited. With the rather hefty price tag they may truly be “Limited” for all the wrong reasons

PS3 Slim: Fact or Fiction?

If you are a gamer, you are well aware of the fact that consoles can be swarmed with rumors. Often they are fiction. However, I believe the PS3 Slim is more likely to be fact. First off, I have heard reports that many retailers are not reordering PS3. This is often a very strong indication that a new iteration of a console on the way. Second and what may be the strongest, a listing on Amazon.com Germany says the following: ” PS3 Konsole Slim” While none of these are necessarily confirmed, the proof seems to be getting stronger.

Castle Crashers Reaches 1 million!

The popular XBLA title Castle Crashers, has now reached one million players! This is a great achievement for an XBLA game. I highly reccomend this game and can see why it is so popular. This is one game you should defintley check out!

All PS3′S To Have Backward Compatiabilty?

It will probably come as no surprise that Sony removed the chip set required for PS2 backward compatibility. However, Sony is reportedly reimplementing the feature through a firmware. If it works and is implemented smoothly, current PS3 owners will rejoice and may be another to plop down the money for the heavy price tag!
